Cat Condo Chronicles Privacy Policy
Cat Condo Chronicles stores gameplay progress locally, may show rewarded ads through Google AdMob, and lets players optionally sync progress with Google Play Games. A separate Cat Condo Chronicles account is not required.
Information We Collect
Cat Condo Chronicles does not require a developer-managed account and does not ask players to submit a legal name, email address, phone number, street address, or precise location. The game can be played without enabling Google Play Games cloud saves.
The app and its Google service SDKs may process the following categories:
- Google AdMob: approximate location inferred from an IP address, app interactions such as launches, taps, and ad views, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
- Google Play Games: when a player uses Play Games features, Google may process a gamer name, avatar, player or user identifier, analytics, diagnostics, and saved gameplay progress. Cat Condo Chronicles uses this information only to authenticate the optional Play Games connection and provide cloud-save functionality.
Cat Condo Chronicles does not request Android location permission. Any approximate location disclosed for ads is inferred by Google from network information such as an IP address, not from GPS or another precise-location sensor.
Local and Cloud Save Data
Cat Condo Chronicles stores game progress locally on your device so the game can remember your rooms, cats, currencies, goals, achievements, daily rewards, settings, and other gameplay progress.
Android may include this local save in system backup or device-transfer services when those features are enabled in the device's Google settings. Those services are controlled by Google and the player.
If a player explicitly enables Google Play Saves, the game uploads a copy of its gameplay state to Google Play Games Saved Games and uses it to restore or synchronize progress. The developer does not operate a separate cloud save server for the current version.
Google Play Games
Google Play Games sign-in and cloud saves are optional. Players use an existing Google Account and Play Games profile; Cat Condo Chronicles does not create or manage that external account and does not receive its password.
When Play Games is enabled, the app can read and write only the authenticated player's Cat Condo Chronicles saved game. It cannot access Play Games data belonging to another game. Google controls Play Games profile visibility, processing, retention, and deletion under Google's policies.
Ads, Consent, and Advertising Choices
Cat Condo Chronicles uses Google AdMob to offer rewarded ads. The Google User Messaging Platform may present a consent or privacy-options form where required. Depending on region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's policies, an ad may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.
The Mobile Ads SDK may initialize and load an ad after the applicable consent state permits ad requests, even if the player ultimately chooses not to watch the rewarded ad. Players can revisit privacy choices from the game's Settings screen when Google makes that control available.
Permissions
The app uses internet and network-state access for consent, ads, optional Play Games cloud saves, and Google Play services. On supported Android versions, notification permission is optional and is used only for player-enabled Daily Cat reminders. Boot-completed access lets the app reschedule those local reminders after a restart. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may access the Android advertising ID when permitted by Android, Google policy, consent, and device settings.
Purchases
Real-money purchase and subscription checkout is disabled in version 3.0.0. The current version does not create a billing connection or send purchase tokens to a developer verification server.
Before a future version enables gem purchases or Condo Club subscriptions, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated. Google Play will process payment credentials; Cat Condo Chronicles will not receive a player's full card or bank-account information.
Your Choices and Data Deletion
- Local progress: use Settings > Reset Native Save, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Reset Native Save also turns off cloud syncing on that device.
- Play Games data: open the Google Play Store, then Profile > Settings > General > Play Games Profile > Privacy & Settings > Delete profile & game data. Under "Delete individual game data," choose Cat Condo Chronicles. Players can also manage this at their Play Games profile on the web.
- Advertising choices: use the privacy-options entry in Cat Condo Chronicles when available and Android's Settings > Privacy > Ads controls to manage or delete the advertising ID.
Reset Native Save deletes Cat Condo Chronicles gameplay progress stored by the app on that device. Requesting deletion of Cat Condo Chronicles under "Delete individual game data" uses Google's controls to delete the game's Play Games data.
A local reset does not erase advertising, diagnostics, Google Play, Android backup, or Play Games information that Google has already processed. Google controls and retains that information under its policies and account controls. The current version has no separate developer account or developer-operated remote gameplay database, so the developer keeps no additional server copy and applies no additional developer retention period after deletion. Data Sharing and Sale
The developer does not sell personal data or sell user data to data brokers.
AdMob may collect and share the advertising-related data described above with Google and its advertising partners for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Optional Play Games identity and save data is processed by Google to provide Play Games functionality. Google may also process downloads, installs, device compatibility, app security, backups, and store operations under its own policies.
Security and Retention
Local progress is stored in Android app storage. Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK uses TLS and that Play Games Services uses HTTPS to encrypt the data described in this policy while it is transmitted.
Local progress remains until it is reset, cleared, or removed, subject to Android backup settings. Google retains AdMob, Play Games, Play History, and backup data according to its own retention rules and the controls available in the player's Google Account. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
Cat Condo Chronicles does not ask players, including children, to submit direct contact information such as an email address, phone number, or street address. Google services may still process technical, advertising, profile, and gameplay information as described above, subject to applicable law, account settings, consent choices, and Google's policies. A parent or guardian may use the contact method below with privacy concerns.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above and revise the Google Play Data safety declaration when a change affects data collection, sharing, or use.
The date at the top of this page shows when the policy became effective.
